Founder & Director – Vedwati Verma’s journey is rooted in her own struggles. As a young girl, she dreamed of completing her education and building a better life. But financial hardship stood in her way. With limited resources and no guidance on social benefits that could have supported her, she was forced to leave her studies behind. The pain of unfulfilled dreams stayed with her, but instead of breaking her spirit, it gave her a purpose. Vedwati realized that thousands of children across India face the same challenge, a lack of access to education, not because of ability, but because of poverty and unawareness of the help available. She decided no child should have to give up their future the way she did. With compassion and determination, Vedwati founded VSS India. Her vision was simple yet powerful: to ensure every child gets the education they deserve by connecting them with schools, scholarships, and social benefit programs. Through tireless work, she built a network of support that continues to empower children from underserved communities. Today, Vedwati’s story inspires many.
